In a Proactive step towards fostering digital advancement and empowering the youth of Uttar Pradesh, the state government has initiated a program to distribute tablets/smartphones among students from diverse backgrounds and educational paths. This inclusive scheme extends its benefits to students enrolled in a wide array of educational and training programs, including those pursuing higher education, graduate and postgraduate studies, diploma courses, skill development programs, as well as paramedical and nursing studies, among others. The tablets/smartphones will help in spreading awareness about the various developmental schemes and programs of the government among the students. Various other information and updates will also be shared with them from time to time.
Over 68 lac students pursing various Graduation, Post-Graduation, Diploma, Skill Development and other courses under Higher Education, Technical Education, Technical Education (Diploma), ITIs, Medical Education from Government or Private Universities / Colleges / Institutes of Uttar Pradesh will be benefitted under this scheme.
what is digi shakti scheme?
Under this scheme, students enrolled in various teaching/training programs of higher/higher educational institutions, graduate, postgraduate, diploma, skill development, paramedical and nursing students etc. will get the benefit of this scheme. The state government will distribute tablets/smart phones to the students through their respective institute. The tablets/smartphones will help in spreading awareness about the various developmental schemes and programs of the government among the students. How to apply for DigiShakti Scheme?
Students do not require registering or applying on any portal to avail the scheme benefit. They will be informed about the status by their respective College/Institute/University Campus through SMS/Email/Notice/Official Website.
Schedule of distribution of devices
Students are advised to regularly visit the official portal of DigiShakti & Official Website of their College/Institute/University to keep themselves informed or they can contact their respective College/Institute/University Campus for more information. Material of various educational programs will also be provided to the students. Students does not have to pay any fee to receive Tablet/Smartphone.
Important points to keep in mind before apply for digi shakti scheme.
1. This scheme is open for the students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh as well as Non-Resident students who are enrolled in Uttar Pradesh, therefore students domiciled outside of U.P. should also fill the form.
2. All the students of these batches must fill the Google Form Latest by Monday 12 August 2024, IST 12 Midnight.
3. Lloyd School of Law students and newly admitted batch of students will get the same on their turn as per the directions of the Government of State of Uttar Pradesh.
